Sunday Events in August at The Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hong Kong 香港佛法中心八月週日活動
- Yoga Class (10:00 – 11:00 am)
- Meditation (from 11:15 am onwards)
Starting this Sunday, we will run three special yoga classes from 10:00 – 11:00 am before our regular weekly meditation session.
We have invited two teachers certified in lyengar yoga to lead the three sessions. (lyengar yoga stresses alignment of the musculo-skeletal structure of the physical body to obtain stability in a yoga pose to calm the body and the mind.
The teachers:
- Ray Lui, who has taught yoga for more than 10 years, will lead the 13 and 27 August session;
- Maggie Tan, who has a PhD in neurobiology and taught yoga for about 15 years, will lead the 20 August session.
The classes are free (Donations are welcome)
Please arrive 10 minutes before class. Participants should:
(1) bring their own towels;
(2) wear tee-shirts and comfortable pants/shorts.

- 瑜伽課;(早上十時至十一時)
- 禪修 (早上十一時十五分起)
本週日起,香港佛法中心於八月每週日早上十時正至十一時正 (十一時十五分禪修開始前) 舉行三節特別瑜伽課。
我們邀請兩位註冊艾揚格瑜伽 (Iyengar Yoga) 導師帶領三節瑜伽。艾揚格瑜伽強調身體肌肉及骨骼之協調,於瑜伽體式得以穩定,達至身心平靜。
導師:
Ray Lui從事瑜伽教學超過10年。他將帶領8月13及8月27日瑜伽課。
Maggie Tan為神經生物學博士,擁有超過15年瑜伽教學經驗。她將帶領8月20日瑜伽課。
瑜伽課費用全免 (隨喜捐助)。
參加者請穿著T裇及舒適短褲,攜帶毛巾,並於瑜伽課開始前十分鐘抵達中心。
