Centre of Excellence in Buddhist Studies Since 1875

The Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hong Kong offers a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies and other postgraduate courses from the University of Kelaniya (UoK), Sri Lanka, a centre of excellence in Buddhist Studies since 1875.

The 2018 MA programme - designed to continue UoK’s tradition of Buddhist scholarship - will be offered and taught by eminent Buddhist scholars, including Prof. Y Karunadasa, an expert on Theravāda Abhidhamma, and Prof. K L Dhammajoti, one of the few monk-scholars well-versed in both Early and later Buddhist traditions and the canonical languages.
