Facilitators

Professor Tsomo received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Hawai‘i, Manoa. In addition, she studied at the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives and the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics in Dharamsala, India for 15 years. Professor Tsomo’s doctoral research focused on death and identity in China and Tibet. She is the author of Sisters in Solitude: Two Traditions of Monastic Ethics for Women and Into the Jaws of Yama, Lord of Death: Buddhism, Bioethics, and Death, and numerous articles, including "Gender Equity and Human Rights,” and “Global Exchange: Women in the Transmission and Transformation of Buddhism.”

Ven. Chang Lin, formerly known as Alain Yip, is a reputable professional photographer in Hong Kong who graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic (now Hong Kong Polytechnic University) studying Design. With 50 years of experience in photography, he is a Founder and Honorary Member of the ‘Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographers’. His works were widely featured in various media, exhibitions and his photography publications. He also taught photography courses to share his experience with others.

In 2009, he decided to give up all his fame and fortune and went to Taiwan to start his monastic life. Ven. Chang Lin now leads meditation retreats around the world, helping others incorporate meditation into their daily lives.

Ven SHI Chuan Deng is the disciple of Ven SIK Yin Yeung. Ven SHI is continuing her late Master's mission to care and accompany the sick and those in perplexity through their vicissitudes of life.Through meditation, life education, and her writings she teaches the public to realise the meaning of life.

慧空法師於夏威夷大學馬諾阿主校獲博士學位,曾於印度達蘭沙拉西藏資料圖書館及佛教辯證學院學習。慧空法師博士論文集中研究中國及西藏死亡及身分,她亦為《獨處姊妹:兩傳承女性佛教修道倫理》、《進入閻摩之掌》、《死神:佛教、生物倫理與死亡》作者, 著有《性別平等與人權》、《全球交流:傳播與轉變中的佛教的女性》等數篇文章。

常霖法師俗名葉青霖,出家前為香港著名專業攝影師,香港理工學院(今理工大學)設計系畢業。接觸攝影經驗已經50年,現為「香港專業攝影師公會」創會及榮譽會員。其作品常見於各類傳媒及展覽,亦經常出版攝影專集,並曾教授攝影課程,分享他的攝影心得。

他在2009年放下俗世的名與利,到台灣於果如法師座下剃度出家,現時經常在世界不同地方,以輕鬆易懂的方式帶領禪修活動,希望幫助多些人活出自在的人生。

傳燈法師,曾於大馬、緬甸及美國接受教育,擁有大眾傳播媒介及佛學雙學士學位,爾後考獲比較宗教學榮譽碩士學位。

2003年披剃於檳城妙香林寺上廣下餘老和尚座下。於美國深造期間恩師圓寂,隨後依止上衍下陽法師。2009年來港,致力於心靈關顧服務,協助病友及家屬達致身心靈的安穩與恬靜。

現與衍璇法師攜手出任大覺福行中心住持,同時也是新界東及港島西聯網多所醫院的佛教院侍部主管,兼任駐院院侍,於多間醫院進行心靈關懷,並定期主辦講座、工作坊,積極推廣生死教育及身心減壓知識。

法師曾與衍陽法師一同主持佛門網B頻道節目《家家有本常念的經》,2011至2014年間,於佛門網《明覺》電子雜誌撰寫專欄〈禪門一念〉,其後將多篇勵志小品結集成書《自己點火》;2016年迄今,定期為佛門網撰稿。
