Video Recordings for 11 December 2015 Public Lecture on Adhimukti, meditative praxis and vijñaptimātratā Available

The public lecture on Adhimukti, meditative praxis and vijñaptimātratā, co-organized by The Buddha-Dharma Centre of Hong Kong and the PolyU Buddhist Studies Group was held successfully on 11 December 2015, with attendance topping 280. The lecture traces the development of the concept of adhimukti, one of the universal caitta-s (thought concomitant) in the Abhidharma philosophy, and its contribution to the formation of vijñaptimātratā (mere-cognition) doctrine in the Yogācāra philosophy. Venerable Professor Dhammajoti leads the audience during the two-hour lecture through the selected texts from Pāli Nikāyas, Chinese Āgamas, Yogācārabhūmi-Śāstra, Abhidharma-mahāvibhāṣa, etc., into the doctrinal history throughout Buddhist history.

The video recordings for the public lecture on Adhimukti, meditative praxis and vijñaptimātratā is now available in Buddhistdoor website (www.buddhistdoor.com/cht/). Please refer to the following links for the edited videos:
