LKR 6000 worth of parcels including 10 kilos of rice and dry food items and an amount of LKR were distributed to each of the 300 poor families selected from 12 villages with the cooperation of the Chief
Incumbents covering 5 temples and Grama Niladharis. The distribution was supervised by Professor M. Dhammananda, Head of Department of Pali & Buddhist Studies,University of Kelaniya, and held under the cooperation of the Divisional Secretary, four Grama Niladharis, the OIC of the Police Station, and the Dayaka Sabha for transparency and formality.
